Monica Clark is a board-certified family nurse practitioner passionate about caring for children and their families. Monica began her education and training in 2010 as a Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (Cath tech) at Halifax Hospital in Daytona Beach, Florida. She continued her education by earning a Bachelor of Science in nursing and a Master of Science in nursing from Advent Health University.
Since 2015, Monica has worked primarily as an emergency room nurse encompassing all ages and areas of emergency medicine. She said, “Although I enjoyed all areas and ages in emergency medicine, I was particularly drawn to pediatrics. In 2019 I was allowed to help spearhead the creation and establishment of the separate Pediatric Emergency Department at Advent Health Celebration, which came to fruition in mid-2019. Without a doubt this experience significantly added not only to my clinical knowledge and skills but also to my organizational and leadership skills.”, said Monica.
Monica is passionate about improving the physical, mental, and spiritual health of all patients and their families. In her spare time, Monica enjoys spending time with her husband and son fishing and doing any outdoor activities.
