Michelle D. Toma

Dr. Michelle D. Toma is a board-certified pediatrician with more than 20 years of experience in children’s healthcare. Dr. Toma was born and raised in the Chicago, Illinois area and relocated to central Florida with her husband and daughter.

Dr. Toma earned her bachelor’s degree from Northern Illinois University where she majored in biology and minored in chemistry. She continued her education by graduating with honors from the Loyola Stritch School of Medicine in Maywood, Illinois. Dr. Toma later completed a combined internal medicine and pediatric residency at Loyola University Medical Center.

Dr. Toma’s passion for helping children started at a very young age. In her own words, “I have always loved children and spent many hours babysitting in high school. So, in medical school it was natural that I loved pediatrics!”. Her clinical philosophy is based upon connecting with families and guiding them, as their children develop into their own personalities. She has a passion for life and a love of caring for others.

In her spare time, Dr. Toma loves being together and traveling with her husband and daughter. She can’t get enough of Disney and has a weakness for doughnuts. She also enjoys cooking, baking, and photography.
