When your child isn’t feeling well, you want answers and care from a pediatric provider you can trust. At Celebration Pediatrics, we provide compassionate sick child visits and same-day pediatric care for children experiencing illnesses, infections, injuries, or other unexpected health concerns.
Â
Our pediatric team evaluates your child’s symptoms, provides age-appropriate treatment recommendations, and helps you understand what to expect during recovery.
Â
Whether your child wakes up with a fever, develops a persistent cough, has a sore throat, or simply isn’t acting like themselves, we’re here to help get them feeling better.
Children don’t always get sick according to a schedule. That’s why Celebration Pediatrics offers convenient pediatric sick visits for illnesses and concerns that need prompt attention.
Â
When appropriate, same-day appointments can help your child receive timely care without having to wait for a regularly scheduled visit.
Â
Our providers can evaluate your child’s symptoms and determine the most appropriate course of treatment, including whether additional testing, medication, monitoring, or follow-up care is needed.
Parents may schedule a sick visit when their child is experiencing symptoms such as:
If you’re unsure whether your child’s symptoms require an appointment, our team can help you determine the best next step.
Our pediatric providers can evaluate many common childhood illnesses and health concerns, including:
Â
Colds & Respiratory Illnesses
Colds and respiratory illnesses are common during childhood. Our providers can evaluate symptoms such as coughing, congestion, runny nose, sore throat, and fever and determine whether additional evaluation or treatment is needed.
Â
Flu
Influenza can cause fever, body aches, fatigue, cough, and other symptoms. If your child develops flu-like symptoms, a pediatric sick visit can help determine the appropriate care.
Â
RSV
RSV is a common respiratory virus that can cause mild cold-like symptoms but may be more serious for infants and young children. Our providers can evaluate respiratory symptoms and help parents understand when additional care may be necessary.
Â
Strep Throat
Sore throats can have many causes. When strep throat is suspected, appropriate testing can help determine whether your child has a bacterial infection that requires treatment.
Â
Ear Infections
Ear pain, irritability, trouble sleeping, or changes in hearing may be signs of an ear infection. Our providers can examine your child’s ears and recommend appropriate treatment.
Â
Fever
Fever is one of the most common reasons parents seek pediatric care. During a sick visit, your child’s provider can evaluate the fever along with other symptoms and determine whether additional testing or treatment is appropriate.
Â
Stomach Illnesses
Vomiting, diarrhea, nausea, and abdominal discomfort can occur for many reasons. Our pediatric team can evaluate your child’s symptoms and provide guidance on hydration, nutrition, treatment, and when additional care may be necessary.
When clinically appropriate, our providers may recommend testing to help identify the cause of your child’s symptoms. Testing recommendations are based on your child’s symptoms, age, medical history, and physical examination.
It can be difficult to know when a child’s symptoms require medical attention. If your child has a new, persistent, worsening, or concerning symptom, contacting your pediatrician is a good place to start.
