Dr. Brito is passionate about caring for medically complex newborns and children and guiding families through difficult diagnoses. She is board certified in both Pediatrics and Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine, bringing specialized expertise in the care of newborns, premature infants, and children with complex medical needs. She believes every child deserves care that is not only clinically excellent but also compassionate and family-centered.
Her approach emphasizes holistic support, ensuring that both patients and their families feel heard, valued, and cared for every step of the way. With specialized training in neonatology, Dr. Brito has a particular interest in caring for medically complex newborns and children with complex or life-limiting conditions.
Dr. Brito’s passion for pediatrics began in medical school when she cared for an infant with X-linked hydrocephalus. Supporting that family through their diagnosis brought her great joy and affirmed her calling to care for children and their families. She finds deep meaning in guiding parents through the most delicate stages of their child’s life and treasures the opportunity to make a lasting impact every day.
Dr. Brito completed her medical education at K.S. Hegde Medical Academy in India, followed by her pediatrics residency at AdventHealth for Children in Orlando and a fellowship in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine at Children’s Hospital of Richmond at VCU.
Outside of pediatrics, Dr. Brito enjoys gardening, traveling, and spending time with her family. She is married, has two children, and a dog who keep life busy and full of joy. She also proudly calls Dubai her childhood home.
