With more than 10 years of pediatric nursing experience before becoming a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner, Janessa offers a unique combination of clinical expertise, compassion, and understanding. Her background includes caring for children in a variety of healthcare settings, allowing her to provide comprehensive care tailored to each child’s individual needs.
A Passion for Caring for Children
Janessa earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Chamberlain College of Nursing before completing her Master of Science in Nursing – Family Nurse Practitioner at South University. Throughout her career, she has remained committed to delivering evidence-based care while building meaningful relationships with the families she serves.
She believes parents should always feel heard, informed, and empowered to make the best decisions for their children. By encouraging open communication and creating a welcoming atmosphere, Janessa helps families feel comfortable asking questions and becoming active partners in their child’s care.

When she’s not caring for patients, Janessa enjoys spending quality time with her family, exploring new restaurants, traveling, and making memories with loved ones. Her warm personality and genuine love for working with children shine through both professionally and personally.
