Celebration Pediatrics is excited to welcome Dr. Michelle D. Toma and nurse practitioner, Janil Toribio to the team.
Michelle D. Toma, MD, FAAP
Dr. Michelle D. Toma is a board-certified pediatrician with more than 20 years of experience in children’s healthcare. Dr. Toma was born and raised in the Chicago, Illinois area and recently relocated to central Florida with her husband and daughter. Dr. Toma earned her bachelor’s degree from Northern Illinois University where she majored in biology and minored in chemistry. She continued her education by graduating with honors from the Loyola Stritch School of Medicine in Maywood, Illinois. Dr. Toma later completed a combined internal medicine and pediatric residency at Loyola University Medical Center.
Dr. Toma’s passion for helping children started at a very young age. In her own words, “I have always loved children and spent many hours babysitting in high school. So, in medical school it was natural that I loved pediatrics!”. Her clinical philosophy is based upon connecting with families and guiding them, as their children develop into their own personalities. She has a passion for life and a love of caring for others.
In her spare time, Dr. Toma loves being together and traveling with her husband and daughter. She can’t get enough of Disney and has a weakness for doughnuts. She also enjoys cooking, baking, and photography.
Janil Toribio, MSN, APRN, CPNP-PC, CPN
Janil Toribio is a board-certified pediatric nurse (CPN) and a member of the National Association of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners. After graduating magna cum laude from the University of Central Florida with a bachelor of science in psychology, Janil went on to graduate magna cum laude with a bachelor of science in nursing from the University of South Florida. She continued her education by earning a master of science in Primary Care Pediatrics Nursing Practitioner (PNP-C). After completing nursing school, Janil began working for the Advent Health for Children Hospital for in a 44-bed pediatric medical surgical unit. She gained vast experience by cross training the pediatrics progressive care unit (PCU) but quickly realized her that general pediatrics was her niche.
Janil’s passion for pediatrics initiated with the care she received as a child from her own pediatrician. In her own words, “My pediatrician had such a special way with children that making our annual or sick visits was something I looked forward to. I would say, that is where the spark started!”, Janil Toribio, APRN.
Janil is married and enjoys traveling the world with her husband. They have a goal to visit a new country every year. She also enjoys snowboarding, rollerblading, attending church, and spending time with her family.

We recently moved so now it takes us up to 45 minutes to get there when it used to take us 15 minutes but we’ll never change doctors.
The office is always clean and the staff is super nice, highly recommended
My family loves Dr. Anwer, he is a remarkable doctor. You can tell he is very passionate about his career and genuinely loves his patients which is so important. He doesn’t treat my kids like just another patient but instead takes his time to ask questions and really understand our concerns.

Dr. Toma is wonderful. Amazing ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I have found that the doctors at this location are intelligent and educated in a wide realm of topics which makes the experience much richer, especially when it is your first child!
Quick to get patients a visit when needed and we usually don’t wait more than 5-10 min to be seen.
The staff was so helpful in making sure that the needed records for our girls were obtained from our prior provider. Our girls also loved the visit with NP Janil.
Would highly recommend this office.
She was patient, sweet, and very knowledgeable!
We left our appointment feeling very secure and with the practice that we chose!
